How to bring ratings across

In Lightroom Classic, select the photos and choose Metadata › Save Metadata to File (or turn on "Automatically write changes into XMP" in catalog settings). For RAW files this writes .xmp sidecars: drop them in with the photos. Rejected photos come across as rejects and can be hidden.

Better than the Print module

Lightroom's Print module can make contact sheets, but templates are fiddly and captions are limited. Here you get frame numbers, stars and exposure data, multi-page sheets and your branding in a few clicks.
